Upon completion of this course, I now understand in greater detail what ways are needed for improvement in the technological advances that have been brought to the educational setting. As we have developed as a society technology has changed and become more complex. Students are learning in many ways that can bring out the best qualities in how their mind can learn and develop. For example, for myself I would clearly need to strengthen my approach to the professional development aspect. With this in mind it would be defined in a broader and distinct picture of what implementation with technology would be done with technological advancements taught along with growth.
This in turn would broaden my range and help support others that surround me. “By giving teachers access to a wide variety of new methods, technologies are currently being used in education to help students learn more successfully. Additionally, these technologies are employed to help teachers complete administrative work more quickly.” ( Uzorka, 2023, pg. 9). Following up with educating myself on what others use in their classroom was interesting and motivating. It allowed me to get a better understanding of what teachers can incorporate and I can bring into the classroom for my students to help motivate them or broaden in differentiated learning. This course has challenged me to work with new platforms that I have never associated with before. This created a greater amount of growth and better understanding of adapting to how students learn in a classroom and what can be brought in to assist them. “Understanding existing types of teachers with varying combinations of reasons for technology integration is crucial for creating intervention efforts that specifically target different subpopulations of teachers.” (Vongkulluksn et al., 2020, pg.8). I know that I would take what I have created and implemented in the classroom for future use.
