The dynamic of a learning environment with technology has shaped and developed the way we approach academics. A multi-faceted approach is being implemented into education with the mindset being aimed towards meeting the needs of every individual involved. Technology can be geared in many different directions when meeting academic needs. Utilization can be applied to the multiple academic and behavioral tiers to create a supplemental tool that will help create growth for every student that participates.

Technology over recent years has become more of the for front of what guides and dictates lessons. It sustains the participation of the students and the motivation for them to become educated. I would love to say that we don’t necessarily have to have an obligation to use technology in the classroom. The only problem saying that is with the society that we live in, with needing the short-term gratification, the access to creating lessons centered around technology engages in the learning that most students our currently accustomed to.

Online learning has become a growing trend with the advancement of technology with the accessibility that has developed within recent years. “Student identified certain beneficial aspects of online learning, such as comfortable education environments, seamless interactions, and efficient time utilization.” (Mahyiddin, Amin,2022, pg.84). Having more depth in the focus, being centered on the individual student's best interests. This creates another form of differentiated learning for those who may struggle with being in a classroom and may be able to get their needs met more effectively and efficiently in the comforts of their own home. Their difficulties may include that of anxiety with being in a larger social setting, or that of having behaviors that effect that can alter their best learning.

Technology can also be utilized in a general education setting allowing it to be a supplemental part of their learning process.Open education was well suited to support teachers in being more responsive to learner needs, differentiating learning, and bridging formal and informal learning contexts.” (Paskevicius, 2023, pg.26). We as educators and students need more available options to create growth and success with our academic future. With the technology that is now available and incorporated with everyday aspects of life.

We must understand that everything that we do is at the will of our Lord. Everything that we have is provided through him, with the gifts that he has provided for us. With the knowledge and understanding provided through him with technology that we use it with our savior in mind. “And the Lord said, Behold, they are one people, and they all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do. And nothing they propose to do will now be impossible for them.” (NIV, 1973/2016, Genesis 11:6).

These words spoken proclaim to me that, with the knowledge, understanding and the foundation of one language that we speak with technology. That God will provide our world the knowledge to utilize technology in ways suitable for guidance for the people of God. That developing and implementing useful technology must be done within the power of his name.

With technology becoming more prevalent in society, within schools and in churches we must use it for instruction not only academically but spiritually. “Take hold of instruction, do not let go. Guard her, for she is your life.” (NIV, 1973/2016, Proverbs 4:13). This tells me what instruction we are offered we use it with the grace of our God, with increasing our knowledge with it having a faith centered understanding. That we must be within our means and not use for evil doing. “And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to you children and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and you lie down, and when you rise.” (NIV, ,1973/2016, Deuteronomy, 6:6-7). This verse speaks truth towards the full understanding of the way we as Christians need to be taught. With grace and understanding we move forward yet tread lightly in consideration of what the future of technology provides.

I have learned over the years with time and patience that every individual learns in various ways. Every student that steps into my room will be given the opportunity to succeed no matter the circumstances. With the utilization of what we have available for technology and proper classroom management. Any student can strive with a bright future ahead of them and strategies for a successful future.

I have become educated that certain students need the speech to text to properly manage how they can express what they may need. Also making tablets available for online book that have captions, so that a student that may not be able to read can follow along with text and incorporate the two for a better understanding of reading. Children are our future and how we educate them is determined by the effort, consistency, and what we apply to them and offer to them to make them successful.
